He is survived by: his wife Frances D. VanGundy; his children, Melissa Armstrong (Sam) of Chillicothe, Elissa Riddle of Waverly, Buzz Kinzer of Londonderry and Terry Kinzer (Glenda) of Londonderry; his grandchildren, Sierra Armstrong, Jacob Armstrong, Chad Roll (Melissa), Stephanie Wallingford (Steve), Jason Kinzer, Terra Kinzer, Hannah Dunn (Gene) and Kelsey Kinzer; his great grandchildren, Zyrick Evans, Malik Diack, Alyiah Diack and Jace Kinzer; and his brother Pete Kinzer (Edna).
