Newman and Ocie Newman (Clary); his wife Lena "Peggy" Newman (Elkins); his sons, Gary and Stevie Newman; his siblings, Roland, Leonard, Ralph, Artie, John Newman, Cloyd Morrison, Juanita Dobbins, Frances Carroll, Thelma Johnson and Vada Miller; and his daughter-in-law Carol Newman.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles E. Newman, Michael Newman and Daniel Newman (Lanissa); his grandchildren, Jason Newman (Heather), Shannon Amburgey (John), Rachael McCumber (Jerry), Elizabeth Newman (Ashley) and Ashleigh Wilbur; and his siblings, Jesse Newman (Joyce), Dale Newman and Marlene Mathes. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, family members and friends.
