He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Bonifas and Mary Ann Bonifas; and his sister Anne-Marie Bonifas. He is survived by: his siblings, Stephen (Judy), David (Maureen), Liesl Bonifas and Laura Bonifas Williams (Ed). He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
