He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Mae Qualls and Tilmond Barnett Sanders Sr.; and his sister Stephanie Sanders. He is survived by: his grandson Elmer "Emo" Haywood of Lima, Ohio.; his siblings, Marvel L. Sanders, Henry Brown and Grace Owens; his niece Aisha Sanders; and his grandson D'Angel Lawrence. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
