Thompson (Lima, Ohio), born in New Knoxville, Ohio, who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Thompson and Emma Thompson (Elshowe); his wife Marlene McCullough; his stepmother Amanda Thompson (Elshowe); his daughter Susan Wicker (Randy); his brothers, Eugene Elshowe and Harold Thompson; and his stepgrandsons, Seth McClintock and Justin Hilyard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Pearce (Larry) of Kansas, Sandy Yahl (David) of South Carolina, Betty Terhark (Terry) of Georgia, Betsy McCollum (Don) of Lima and Donna Woods (JR) of Michigan; and his stepchildren, Sharon McClintock of Ada, Brett McClintock (Sally) of Waynesfield, Janet Watkins of Ada and Tracy Hughes of Jackson Center. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital.
