He is survived by: his siblings, Irene Willis of California, Lenora Yates of California, Agnes Yates of California, Frankie Yates, Fannie Lee Johnson, L. W. Yates, Annie Ruth Yates, Lum Ross, Jack Yates and Robert Earl Yates. He is also survived by nieces, nephew's other relatives and friends.
