He was predeceased by: his parents, Taulby Wombles and Chlora Smith Wombles; and his siblings, Eugene Wombles, Carty Wombles, Melvin Wombles, Morris Wombles, Addie Hubbard and Henrietta Marcum.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Brown; and his children, Jack Wombles (Violet Faulkner) of London, KY, Charlene Davidson of Danville, KY, Danny Wombles (June Jane) of Lima, Cindy Hull (Jason) of LaBelle, FL, George Michael'Bo'Wombles of LaBelle, FL, Marjorie Wombles (Jethro Smith) of Lima and Susan Koch (Paul) of Lima. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Cancer Unit at Lima Memorial Hospital.
