She was predeceased by: her siblings, Robert Armentrout (Joanne), Jimmie Armentrout (Anita) and Marlene Shrider (Bob). She is survived by: her sister Carol Berkebile (Lonnie) of St. Johns Island, SC.; her children, Marilyn J. Vanderford of Lima, Ohio, Gary L. Thompson (Richard Perez) of Los Angeles, CA, David W. Thompson (Sheila) of Westminster, CO and Mark A. Thompson (Barbara Hall) of Centennial, CO.; and her grandchildren, Charles Vanderford, April Bishop (Vanderford), Ryan Thompson, Courtney Thompson, Matthew Thompson and Emily Keene (Thompson).

Dorothy donated her body to medical research, so there will be no viewing nor burial.
