He was predeceased by: his parents, David Fisher and Doris Fisher; his son John Fisher; and his siblings, Roseanne Butler, Evelyn Berryman and David Fisher (Bud).
He is survived by: his children, Steve Fisher (April) of Alger, Larry "Tubby" Fisher, Jr. of Alger, James Fisher (Richard) of Ridgeway, Timothy Fisher (Margaret) of Alger, Josh Fisher (Elizabeth) of Lima, Maude Gay (late Brian) of Lima and Melissa Fisher of Lima; his sisters, Mary Ellen Snyder and Richarda Jean Fogle; and the mother of his children Nancy Sprague. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand children and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help the family with the funeral expenses.
