James Lawther Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Lawther of Lewis Center, Ohio, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward P. Lawther and Catherine Lawther (O'Brien); his brother Eddie Lawther; and his pets, Lilley, Toby and Shambles.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Lawther; his daughters, Colleen Holmes (Jason), Meredith Harvey (David) and Elizabeth Padlow (Jake); his siblings, Thomas Lawther (Cindy), Michael Lawther (Regent), Dave Lawther and Margaret Williamson (Jim); his grandchildren, Cera, Mackenzie, Alyssa, Maverick, Jesse, Morgan and Addie; and his great grandchildren, Maddie, Riley and Juddah.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home (118 Grant Ave, Moundsville, WV 26041). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (912 7th St, Moundsville, WV 26041).
