He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Mattox and Nola Mattox; his wife Bonnie; his siblings, Charles, Richard and Margaret; and his grandchildren, Melissa Howard and Troy Oberman.
He is survived by: his children, Dianne Oberman of Odessa, Debbie Shirley of Brooksville and Jeff of Palm Harbor. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
