He was predeceased by: his brother Richard Markus; and his parents, William J. Markus and Mary Markus. He is survived by: his wife Jane; his sons, Gregory Markus (Lora), Matthew Markus (Michelle), Kenneth Markus (Megan) and William J. Markus (Lauren); his grandchildren, Christopher Markus, Joshua Harkleroad, Jared Markus, Cody Lardomita, Alexis Puleo and Cheyenne Markus; his great grandchild Jaxxon Lardomita; his siblings, Mary Jean McGroder (Mark), Bob Markus (Janet) and Donnie Markus (Marianne); and his sibling-in-law Keiran Markus-Nyary.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cleveland Metroparks or Cleveland Guardians Charities.
