He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose L. Starling (Parthemer) and Alvin J. Starling; and his siblings, Barbara Coxson, Charles A. Starling and Earl A. Starling.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Starling of Kinsman, Ohio; his children, Terry E. Starling of Kinsman, Ohio, Linda S. Starling of Howland and Sarah R. Starling of Kinsman, Ohio; his sister Clara Summerville of Warren, Ohio; his stepsister Karen Ceba of Nevada; his sisters-in-law, Gertrude E. Starling of Gustavus and Mavis A. Starling; and his grandchildren, Jenni Balyeat (Jeff), John Starling (Sara), Katie Starling (Jessie Moy), Mark Starling and Amber Conley (Jamison). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
