It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther Knopp (Kingston, Ohio), born in Damascus, Ohio, who passed away on June 4, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Grey and Blanche Thompson, Sr. (Amos); her husband Warren; her daughter Susan Knopp; her siblings, Mary Kent (Leslie), Sarah Jane Thompson, Martha Corbett (Charles), Harvey Thompson, Sr. (Bettie), Robert, Richard Thompson, Virginia Thompson, Ruth Culp (Bob) and Joseph Thompson; and her sister-in-law Ruth Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Puffenberger (Jack); her grandchildren, Kathryn DelVecchio (Matt), Thomas Puffenberger (Jackie), Emily Simpson (Eric) and Martha Newcomer (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Audrey, Charlotte DelVecchio, Libby, Emma, Jack and Brynn Puffenberger; her brother John Thompson; and her sister-in-law Yolanda Thompson.
