He is survived by: his wife Jolene Mago (Demmel); his daughter Heather Mago; his parents, Merle Mago and Marlene Mago; his siblings, Melanie Johnson of Austin and Scott Mago of North Olmsted; his aunts, Nancy Kuebel and Alice Mago; his uncle Terry Bentivegna; and also, Scott Johnson of Austin and Lori Mago of North Olmsted. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Peutz-Jeghers Syndrome Research, through Curingenetics.org.
