Ruth Anne Blackburn Obituary
In loving memory of Ruth Anne Blackburn of Jewett, Ohio, who departed this world on February 25, 2025 at the age of 72. Ruth leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Kimmel and Virbel Russell Kimmel; her husbands, Curtis Blackburn and Donald Blackburn; and her siblings, Linda Bake and Ed Kimmel.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Blackburn of Jewett, Troy Blackburn (Jen) of Jewett and Tim Blackburn (Amy) of Richmond; her grandchildren, Crystal McClain (Zach), Tiffani Zorger (Andrew), Brittany Virtue (Corey), Kyle Blackburn, Quade Quillen, Curtis Blackburn (Harley Boyer), Kevin, Kara Blackburn, Nicki Gentry (Roy) and Travis Mellinger (Kimi); her sister Donna Abel; and her brother-in-law Abe Bake of Jewett. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as her numerous fur grandbabies.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Koch Funeral Home (101 W Main St, Scio, OH 43988). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
