It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elsie Donathan (Jefferson, Ohio), born in Lindside, West Virginia, who passed away on October 6, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dall Kanode and Beulah Kanode; her stepmother Annie; her son James Curtis Donathan; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Donathan; and her grandchildren, Rodney, Vincent Donathan and Rebecca Lipstreu.

She is survived by: her brother James Kanode of Rainelle; her children, Bobbie Donathan (Nancy) of Eagleville, Juanita Adkins, Louie Donathan and Barbara Donathan; and her daughter-in-law Phylis Donathan of Jefferson. She is also survived by her 84 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Per her wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jefferson Church of the Nazarene.
