She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Hess and Ressie Hess (Layne); her husband James Ernest Tolliver; her sons, Kenny, Jerome and Ivan; her siblings, Doug Hess (Brenda), Dale Hess (Dorene), Dereck Hess, Wuanita Stiltner (Jack), Wilma Anderson (Buster), Reda Chapman (Scotty), Freda Williams (Paul), Ivilene Compton, Mae Lopez (Jose), Dennis Hess, Donald Hess (Linda), E. C. Hess, Nerva Jean, Homer, Barbara Hess and David Hess (Diane); and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Potter, Irvin Potter, Janice, Owen Potter and Phyllis Ann Tolliver.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia (Evan), James L and Jeff (Amy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, a host of friends.
