He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael L. Gerber and Ruth Gerber Sr. (Swope); his son Michael C. Gerber; his siblings, Carol and Albert Gerber; and his siblings-in-law, Myron Ruffing, Larry Stout and Lucy Stout.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Gerber (Iallonardo); his daughters, Mary and Angela; his pet Joe (Mary); his siblings, John Gerber (Julie) of Ypsilanti, MI and Deborah Lindsley (Brian) of Saline, MI; and his aunt June Swope of Tiffin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
