She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodger Ambrose and Irene May Gerhardstein (Griffin); her son Michael Schlessman; her siblings, Liz Young and Rodger Gerhardstein; and her mother-in-law Bernieta Schlessman.
She is survived by: her husband David Schlessman; her sons, Scott Schlessman (Melissa), Matt Alderman (Lauren) and Andrew Manbeck (Kathy); her grandchildren, Rebekah, Michael, Renee, Jaylee, Kyle, Brenden, Steven and Emma; her great grandchild Leo; and her siblings, Linda Oatley, Diane Yingling (Bruce), Toni Walters (Chris), Laura Tebeau (Jim), Thom Gerhardstein (Jackie) and Sam Gerhardstein (Dorothy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
