He was predeceased by: his stepfather George Locker; and his parents, Harry Sharkey and Ruth Locker. He is survived by: his wife Jane Ellen Sharkey; his children, Denise Sharkey, Dale "Bud" Sharkey, Lenny Sharkey (Robin Stewart) and Kevin Sharkey; his grandchildren, Kristi, Sue Ann, Danelle, Renee, Cheyenne, Connie and Kevin Dale; and his great-nephew Braden Kingsboro. He is also survived by great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
