Lillian I. McClain Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian I. McClain of Holland, Ohio, who passed away on August 30, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Edwin McClain; her siblings, Virginia E. Schwabel, Miriam L. Holtshouse and Thomas G. Wilson; her siblings-in-law, Carl A. Schwabel, Charles A. Holtshouse, Richard F. McClain, Franklin E. McClain, Joseph L. McClain, Laura L. Wilson and Marilyn J. McClain; and her son-in-law David L. Hostetler.

She is survived by: her children, C. Edwin McClain, Jr. (James F. Blanton) of Columbia, SC and Karen S. Hostetler; her grandchildren, Darin R. Smith (Shawn), Fort, Johnathan F. McClain (Laura) of Los Angeles, CA, David M. Hostetler (Rachel), Holland, Courtney C. Roberts (Jeffrey) and Saint; her great grandchildren, Lily Roberts, Jacob and Kaeden Hostetler; her brother Jack S. Wilson; and her sisters-in-law, Rosalie Schmidt and Barbara McClain of Cedar Rapids, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
