With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Samuel Shaffer of Hillsboro, Ohio, who passed away on November 24, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pierce and Virginia Evelyn Shaffer (Flora); his sister Gloria Jean Newland; and his father-in-law Kenneth Golden. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Shaffer (Golden); his children, Jerry Shaffer (Alicia) of Hillsboro, Samantha Birkhimer (Nick) of Hillsboro and Tami Bradley (Nathan) of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Cordell Shaffer (Kylee Walters), Ally Hutchins, Emma Birkhimer, Levi Birkhimer, Noah Birkhimer, Kendra Scott (Michael Hartley), Caden Mckay and Bryson Mckay; his great grandchildren, Brantley, Aubree, Addilyn and Brooklyn Hartley; his siblings, Tony Shaffer (Rhonda) of Hillsboro, Keith Shaffer of Hillsboro, Kelvin Shaffer of New Vienna, Sandra Barnett (Walter) of Winterhaven Florida, Patricia Huston of Wilmington Ohio, Sharon Potter of Hillsboro and Lisa Hibbs of Hillsboro; and his mother-in-law Claudette Golden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
