He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Wilkin, Sr. and Betty Wilkin (Hahn). He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Howland (Ben) of Hillsboro and Julie Barnum (Aaron) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his grandchildren, Ellie Howland, Paige Howland, Ryan Howland, Megan Barnum, Zachary Barnum and Nathan Barnum; his siblings, Dr. James "Jim" Henry Wilkin (Linda) of Augusta, Georgia, Thomas H. Wilkin (Janice) of Redlands and Mary Hamilton (Jay) of Hillsboro, Ohio; his nieces and nephews, Dr. Aimee Chatterjee (Raja) of Winston-Salem, Dr. Timothy Wilkin (Timothy O'Toole) of Jersey City, Thomas Patrick Wilkin (Belinda) of Oklahoma City, Brian Christopher Wilkin of Yucaipa, Amanda Hunter (Bennett) of Hillsboro and Andy Hamilton of Hillsboro; his stepdaughters, Sara Smart (Billy) and Rachel Fegan; and his stepgrandchildren, Liam, Quinn and Cathleen.
