She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Hathaway and Marie Hathaway (Warren); her husband Louis W. Harrod; her daughter Cynthia Harrod; her sons-in-law, John Goldsmith and Michael Hall; and her siblings, William F. Hathaway and Patricia Brennan.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Harrod (Susan) of Harrod, Teresa Hall of Dundee, OR, Kathleen Harrod (Diane Monroe) of East Norriton, PA and Elaine Goldsmith of Pittsburgh, PA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
