It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin Schaad of Harrod, Ohio, born in Watkins, Iowa, who passed away on June 8, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Schaad and Selina Schaad; his spouse Idelia Barnhart; his children, Dianna Sandoval of New Mexico, Danny Schaad (Wendy) of Port Clinton, Debra Doepker (Steve) of Lima, Darla Ackerman (Bob) of Harrod and Dean Schaad (Michele) of Mansfield; his daughter-in-law Melanie Kershner; his sisters, Helen Barnes of Rushmore and Hilda Mumma of Ada; his son Dennis Schaad; and his son-in-law Billy Sandoval. He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
