He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Cartmell and Wilma Cartmell (Harvey); and his brothers, Eugene "Gene" Cartmell and Robert "Bob" Cartmell. He is survived by: his wife Betty Cartmell; his children, Brian Cartmell (Lynn), Teresa Cartmell, Kimberly Cartmell Adkins and Amy Cartmell Rusche (Michael); and his brother Gerald "Gary" Cartmell. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
