He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Adkins; his brother Robert Adkins; and his parents, Robert Adkins and Edna Adkins. He is survived by: his children, Valerie McDaniel (Marcus), Vanessa Burkart (James) and Ronald Adkins (Megan); and his siblings, Gene Adkins, Sarah Adkins, Faye Angel and Patty Adkins. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
