She is survived by: her children, Sandy Krabbe (Greg), Charlie Krabbe (Dee) and Dr. Janice Krabbe (Kevin); her husband Roger Slaughter; her grandchildren, Jamie Gillispie (Sean), Jessika Ashcraft (Zac), Adam Krabbe (Nicole), Michael Krabbe, Charles Krabbe Jr. (Emily), Alexander Dalziel, Christian Dalziel and Emma Krabbe; her great grandchildren, Austin Pope, Ellie Loux, Phoebe Gillispie-Metts, Jordan Loux, Madix Ashcraft, Krue Ashcraft and Jack Krabbe; her sister-in-law Dianne Dohn; her nieces and nephews, Marsha Jo, Brett, Bonnie, Paul, Eugene, David, Rich, Jeannie, Debbie, Nancy, Greg, Michelle, Mark, Steve, Candy and Shannon; and her close friends, Betty, Richard, Kevin, Billy, Wanda, Robyn, Art and Gail.
The family requests memorials be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Harrison High School Art Scholarship in honor of Rosa Avila.
