It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Schmeltzer of Harrison, Ohio, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on November 14, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Halpin and Helen Marie Halpin (Tepe); her son-in-law Dan Woolwine; and her siblings, Thomas Halpin (Mary Lou), Mary Helen Griesser (George), Jean Poos (Ed), James Halpin (Dorothy) and William Halpin.
She is survived by: her husband George "Dale" Schmeltzer; her children, Pamela Dohn (Brett), Daelle Woolwine (Joel Garrett), Paul Schmeltzer (Desiree) and Lesli Schmeltzer; and her grandchildren, Zoe, Lydia Cothran, Layne, Sam Dohn, Nick, Michael, Jake Woolwine and Iliana Dennis.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or Sisters of Mercy.
