It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Merten of Harrison, Ohio, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on September 2, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Merten and Alice Merten; her siblings, H. Russell (Violet), Arthur, Kenny (Nancy), Lawrence "Putt" Merten (Betty) and Vivian Seibert (Arthur); and her nephews, Stephen Merten and David Merten.
She is survived by: her friend Sandy Brickner; her sister-in-law Marjorie Merten; and her nieces and nephews, Kenneth Merten, Jeannine Merten, Renee Frazier, Denise Morford, Todd Seibert, Jana Strader, Hank Huggins, Julia Wadih, Karalee Brookie, Forrest Merten, Sharon Peeno, Ralph Merten, Russell Merten, Jana Mikes, Jeff Merten, Joel Merten and Jincey YeMaya.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the June Merten Harrison High School Scholarship Fund or First Presbyterian Church. A funeral home representative will be available at the services to assist you with your donation.
