He was predeceased by: his daughter Veronica R. Salyers; and his sibling Jerry K. Salyers. He is survived by: his wife Tammy J. Salyers; his children, Kaitlin M. Salyers and Raven N. Salyers; and his sisters, Teresa Langdon and Debbie Barker. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place.
