He was predeceased by: his sister Ruby Smith. He is survived by: his wife Karen S. Ames; his son Ed Ames; his grandchildren, Brittanee Myrick (William), Courtinee Ames, Kelsee Ames, Nevaeh Ames, Zayden Myrick and Kaeson Myrick; and his brother Fred Ames. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
