He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Harper and Margaret Harper (Ulrich); his granddaughter Amanda Harper; and his siblings, Richard Harper, Robert Harper, Carol Duwell, Mildred Morris and Mary Gulley.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Harper (Kathy), Matt Harper (Rachel) and Nancy Verkley (Steve); his grandchildren, Jason Harper, Christopher Harper, Ethan Verkley (Morgan), Ellen Verkley, Eric Verkley, Briana Looney, Matthew Harper and Emma Verkley; and his great grandchild Crue Crecco.
