He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezell Sandlin and Sadie Sandlin (Wilder); his stepmother Susie Sandlin; and his sisters, Irene Lewis, Doris Marshall, Violet Hodge-Gilliam, Brenda Phillips and Helen Lundy.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Banks; his children, Marvin (Brenda) of Franklin, OH, Annette Iacobucci (T. J.) of West Harrison, IN, Garry (Shannon) of Covington, KY, Brian (Jen) of Sunman, IN and Mark (Dana Ross) of Harrison, OH.; his grandchildren, Crystal, Aaron, Savannah, Emily, Elena, Eli and Avery; his great grandchildren, Maci and Connor; his stepbrother Bill Day; and his brothers, Oliver, Wendell Sandlin and Raymond Day. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
