He was predeceased by: his father Gaylord; and his children, Thomas (Mike) and Lisa. He is survived by: his wife Sue Harmon (Massie); his daughter Pam Marshall (Paul); his grandchildren, Jeff (Summer), Zach (Lindsey Guth) and Brooke Marshall; his great grandchildren, Eli, Seinna and Myles Marshall; and his brother Duke Harmon.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tom's memory to the Capital and National Processing Center – Research, Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington DC. 20090-6011.
