She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ater and Leona Ater (Matson); her husband Donald O McClain; her sons, Donald H McClain (Bo), Danny and Keith McClain; her granddaughter Danielle McClain; her siblings, Ronald, Dick, Laura, Mary Lou, Henriette Jane and Patty; and her niece Michelle.

She is survived by: her granddaughters, Lori McClain-Ziegler (Todd) and Elizabeth Morrow (Jon); her great grandchildren, Caitlin, Olivia, Preston Long, Jesse, Harley, Lexi Morrow, Simon and Delilah Ziegler; her great great grandchildren, Sophia, Rain (Bo), Dani Mae and Morgan; her brother Jack; and her close friend Kathy.
