He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Igel and Leota Igel; and his siblings, Teddy, Timmy and Christine.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Igel; his brothers, George (Sue) and Joe Igel (Roberta); and his sister-in-law Sandy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
