He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bickel and Bertha Bickel (Cline); and his sisters-in-law, Jenne Bickel and Sandy Bickel. He is survived by: his wife Vestina Bickel (Fung); his sons, Stephen Bickel (Michelle) and Scott Bickel (Nanette); his grandchildren, Corinne, Bryce, Camden, Elise, Benjamin, Olivia, Gia and Boden; and his brothers, John Bickel and Jim Bickel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Madison Christian Church.
