It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Finley Edwin Thompson of Groveport, Ohio, born in Louisa, Kentucky, who passed away on September 6, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Finley Thompson and Ethel Thompson; and his brother Rick Thompson (Bonnie). He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Heslop (John) and Melissa Wright (Richard); his stepdaughter Kim Kazee; his grandchildren, Mason Thompson (Katy), Jesse Heslop (Jasmine), Joshua Heslop (Shiann), Megan Wilkinson, Makenzie and Marissa Heslop; his great grandchildren, Jesse Heslop Jr., Jersey Heslop and Josh Heslop Jr.; and his siblings, Liz Plageman (Jim), Linda Lyerla (Dick), Kevin Thompson (Michele) and Shelly Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
