She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edward Burks and Dora Belcher Burks; her husband Harlin E. Nierman; her son David K. Nierman; and her sisters, Judy Hughes and Irene England.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Nierman (Tina), Greg Nierman (Karen), Jeff Nierman (Pam), Kathy Nierman-Humphrey and Lisa Nierman; and her siblings, Fairley Burks (Sandra), Tommy Burks, George Burks, Teresa Anderson, JoAnn Laipply and Maggie Burks. She is also survived by loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
