He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Gossett and Rena Gossett (Fenton); his former wife Jean Gossett (Holmes); his stepson Mark Dunn; his siblings, Wallace Gossett (Betty) and Wilma Everhart (Merrick); and his nephews, Chuck Gossett and Dennis Shaw.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Dunn Gossett; his children, Tim Gossett (Jo Ellen) of Greenfield and Mindy Anderson (Mike) of South Salem; his stepsons, Kevin Dunn (Trisha) of Durango and Brant Dunn (Theresa) of Bellefontaine; his grandchildren, Hilary Remnant (Joseph), Emily Feasel (Jeremy), Joel Anderson (Natalie), Alex Anderson (Kendra), Trevor Gossett (Susie) and Eric Anderson; his stepgrandchildren, Taylor Dunn (Caitlin), Connor Dunn, Aaron Dunn (Katie), Garhett Dunn and Carter Dunn; his nephew Jim Gossett (Ruth); and his nieces, Brenda Watson and Diane Shaw. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
