He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Eugene and Bessie Daugherty (Tunehill); and his siblings, Randy Daugherty, Shirley Birkhimer and Patty Reed.

He is survived by: his siblings, Rick Daugherty (Fay) of Hillsboro and Melody Reed of Washington, C. H.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
