Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David Hakes (Greenfield, Ohio), born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 84, on November 26, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Meredith Grabill Hakes and Alice Queen Hakes (Welsh); his sisters, Marilyn Baker and Arline Bayless; his daughter Annette Jo Williams (Hakes); and his granddaughter Ashley Kay Hakes.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta; his children, Victor Hakes, Sr. (Corene), Debbie Kocher (Robert), Tammy Boring (Robert) and Stacy Havens (Gary); and his sister Charline Powell (Steve) of Oakwood. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, one great great grandson.
Social distancing will be observed and masks are encouraged.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in David's name to St Jude Hospital or to the Samaritan's Purse Ministries.
