She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. Smith and Lucy Smith (Sparks); her husband Charles Conkel; and her son-in-law John Hollen. She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Rhodes (Jim) of Greenfield, Patty Hollen of Greenfield, Sue Leaverton (Dave) of Greenfield and Kim Hazlett (Rob) of Greenfield; her stepson Chuck Conkel of Urbana; her grandchildren, Steve Chaney (Maggie), April Molloy (Andrew), Adam Chaney (Nikki), Lucy Bromer (Josh), Shawna Willett (Robert), Sarah Claytor (Josh), Jesse Hazlett (Melissa), Jessica Leaverton, Ron Mathews II, Kristopher Hazlett (Rachel), Isaac Leaverton (Matt Waite) and Seth Hazlett; and her sister Frances Raines of Choctaw, Oklahoma. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
