It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Neikirk of Granville, Ohio, born in Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on February 23, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Neikirk and Blanche Neikirk; his brother Kent Neikirk; and his wives, Ruth Neikirk and Eva Neikirk (Haugen).
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Neikirk (Cindy), Bruce Neikirk (Lisa), Tim Haugen (Cheryll) and Mary Dunsmore (Tim); his grandchildren, Samanatha Lloyd (Kevin), Erin, Conlin Neikirk, Lucas Neikirk, Caleb Haugen (Kay), Jared Haugen (PJ), Josiah Haugen, Cassie Dunsmore, Evan Dunsmore and Trevor Dunsmore; and his great grandchildren, Brynley, Gracie, Ansley and Carleigh. He is also survived by his children grow up, become husbands and wife, become parents and also grandparents.
