He is survived by: his daughter Vicky Merritt; his grandchildren, Libby Gregory (Brian), Matthew Carter (Michelle) and Danielle Hogan (Chris); and his siblings, Frances Foley (late Russell) and Paul Merritt (Bettina). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
