He is survived by: his spouse Masako Ellison (Oshiro); his son Mike Ellison (Brandi) of Independence; his grandchild Kai Ellison; and his sisters, Ruth Morris of Ponchatoula, Dorothy Kennedy of Georgetown and Genevieve Canter of Georgetown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
