He is survived by: his wife Cheryl (Huffman); his children, Lloyd Kyle Smith III, Lisa Diane Greer, James Dale Smith and Patricia A. Knighton; his grandchildren, Julie McNeal, Richard McNeal (Justine), Michael McKeever, Iris Smith, William Smith, Mollie Schaffer (Nathan) and Hunter Knighton; his great grandchildren, Marci, Kayden and Carter; and his brother Fred Lauer, Jr.. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
