He was predeceased by: his wife Linda; his children, Jill and Gregory; and his siblings, Gerald and Anne.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joe Mechel (Barb), Rose Rubin (Floyd) and Mary Mechel; his granddaughters, Ariel and Ingrid; his great grandchild Blake; and his friends, Terry, Jody and Leslie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
